Red-Hot July Lands Bracken Batting Prize in MID Monday, August 1st , 2061 C.J. Bracken may be much younger than other hitters in the Midwest League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Westside right fielder hit .368 with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 21 runs scored. In 90 games this season, Bracken has batted at a .306 pace with 99 hits and 20 home runs. |
