Franz Bangs 3 HR Against Hickory Friday, July 30th , 2055 Whatever Tad Franz ate for breakfast before his game against the Hickory Crawdads, it gave him some impressive power. The Kannapolis right fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at L.P. Frans Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Intimidators defeat the Crawdads, 10-2. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 5-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Tad Franz hit a two-run home run off Oscar Lojacono in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Oscar Lojacono in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Alardo Cruz in the 9th. In his 2055 season totals, Franz has 23 home runs, .302 BA, .417 OBP, 57 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
