Huttner Captures MID Batter of Month Award Friday, July 1st , 2061 Michael Huttner made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Midwest League this past month. The Lake County Captains second baseman shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old hit .340 with 7 home runs, 13 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Thus far this year, Huttner is batting .301 with 13 home runs, 31 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
