Bowling Green Crowned Kings of the South Atlantic League Northwest Division Thursday, August 31st , 2051 There was certainly no shortage of drama in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division this year. With the division title still hanging in the balance in the season's final day, the Bowling Green Hot Rods triumphed to capture their 11th division crown. "It's been an exciting chase and great for fans," said starting pitcher Roberto Pommerening. "Of course, Bowling Green fans are happiest of all right now." The club captured the crown with a 89-47 record and will be looking to win the 8th Single A championship in team history. |
