Lake County Reliever Out Thursday, June 2nd , 2061 A blow for Scott Novak today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a partially torn labrum. Novak suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Lake County Captains are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Novak's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season, he has made 6 relief appearances, collecting no saves. Novak has worked 16 innings, yielding 11 hits and giving out 14 free passes while striking out 9.
