Farias Raps 3 Homers Against Catfish
Monday, July 24th , 2051
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Oakley Farias did today at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 10-8.

"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Farias said. "Good things happen, when that happens."

The Delmarva Shorebirds center fielder blistered the Columbus Catfish for 4 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 3 times.

"It ain't like we weren't trying," Columbus manager Scott Andrews said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."

Oakley Farias singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Troy Pittman in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Maddox Gardner in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Preston Peace in the 7th.

This year Farias has collected a .237 batting average to date with 95 hits in 401 at-bats, 36 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 53 times. He has played in 97 games.
