Season Possibly Over for Nate Harris Friday, April 29th , 2061 The doctors have spoken and Nate Harris of the South Bend Cubs didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Harris sustained his season-ending injury during the Beloit Snappers game yesterday at Harry C. Pohlman Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the South Bend medical staff reported Harris had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6-7 months. |
