SAL Best Hitter Award to Kannapolis's Jeremy Stefanovic Saturday, July 1st , 2051 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 23 Jeremy Stefanovic has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Kannapolis Intimidators star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .376 average with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored. During the current season Stefanovic is batting at a .248 clip with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs. He has played in 77 games and scored 40 times. |
