River Bandits Johnson Gone for Year Saturday, June 8th , 2052 Thad Johnson will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Quad Cities starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Johnson was injured while throwing a pitch in the River Bandits-Dragons clash at Fifth Third Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 13 months. This season Johnson has worked 9.1 innings with 12 strikeouts en route to a 1-0 record and a 0.96 ERA. |
