Dock Spiders Michela to Miss Year Thursday, June 6th , 2052 The season is ending on a bad note for Woody Michela, starting pitcher for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Michela was hurt against the Great Lakes Loons while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 11 months. This season Michela has crafted a 1-1 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 18.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .209 against him and he has 20 strikeouts. |
