The Madison Muskies beat the odds and also beat Owen Celmer and the Lansing Lugnuts, 7-5. The hot-hitting Celmer had an historic day at the plate with three home runs, 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored, but no victory. "This game is special for me. It's an individual accomplishment," he said. "As a team we didn't have a good day, but the three homers make it better."
