Ben Conklin Out 4 Months With Injury Wednesday, May 15th , 2052 A blow for Ben Conklin today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn labrum. Conklin suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Conklin's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Conklin has accumulated 12 saves, registered a 1.25 ERA and struck out 22 in 21.2 innings. He also has a 0-2 record in 20 relief appearances. |
