Santa Cruz Wins Regional Championship Series Monday, October 8th , 2063 The Santa Cruz Cruisers are one step closer to the A+ Championship Series. The club prevailed 1-0 at LoanMart Field tonight to eliminate the Ventura Gulls and advance to the A+ Championship Series. The Cruisers won the series by a 4-2 margin, with shortstop and series MVP Luke Gunderson leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," Gunderson said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
