Year Ends for Edward Robinson in Frisco Monday, April 15th , 2052 The doctors have spoken and Edward Robinson of the Frisco RoughRiders didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Robinson sustained his season-ending injury during the Montgomery Biscuits game yesterday at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Frisco medical staff reported Robinson had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13-14 months. |
