Red-Hot García Scorches Fisher Cats Wednesday, October 8th , 2059 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Vennancio García. García went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off New Hampshire pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp had a win, 12-2, over the Fisher Cats. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Vennancio García singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Garrett Collins in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
