Hit Streak Now at 20 for Adekunle Tuesday, August 7th , 2063 Tedd Adekunle has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 24-year-old Rocket City Trash Pandas first baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 1-for-4 as Rocket City got the best of the Shreveport Engineers at Hank Aaron Stadium, 13-7. "Tedd has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Trash Pandas manager Alex Salcedo said. Tedd Adekunle walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season, Adekunle is batting .345 with 16 home runs. |
