Pérez Smacks 3 Out of the Park

Fans are still buzzing after Binghamton whipped the Halifax Frigates by the score of 19-4 at NYSEG Stadium.
Javier Pérez smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the shortstop bashed out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, had 11 RBIs and scored 4 times.
At the postgame press conference, Pérez said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Pérez said. "Three is just... wow."
Javier Pérez hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Daniel Westerdale in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Rafael Tamez in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Chandler Johnson in the 8th.
Looking at his present stats, Pérez has compiled a .329 batting average in 42 games with a .365 on-base percentage, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 32 runs.
