Lima Stretches Hit String to 20 Sunday, July 30th , 2051 The number just keeps getting higher. Rocket City right fielder Ali Lima has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 3 at-bats as the Rocket City took the 5-4 win over the Chattanooga Scouts at Hank Aaron Stadium. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Chattanooga manager Rogelio Vargas said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Ali Lima grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 7th. Lima is hitting .349 in 2051 with 99 RBIs and 18 home runs. |
