Injury Sidelines Wallace Jeno for Season Thursday, May 19th , 2061 Wallace Jeno of the Fisher Cats just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old New Hampshire reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Halifax Frigates recently at MGM Park. Jeno suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Fisher Cats medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 14 months. So far this season, Jeno has picked up no saves in 7 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 11.32 ERA and fanned 8 batters in 10.1 innings. |
