Portland Loses Lendon Stephens, Will Miss Season Sunday, May 15th , 2061 Lendon Stephens of the Sea Dogs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Portland reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Lincoln Bighorns recently at ONEOK Field. Stephens suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Sea Dogs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. This season, Stephens has claimed no saves and registered a 1-0 record with a 2.25 ERA. He has 7 relief appearances spanning 8 innings and has struck out 5. |
