Travelers Crowned Kings of the Southern League Texas Division Monday, September 18th , 2062 Roberto Abreu said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Arkansas Travelers teammates were so excited to celebrate their Southern League Texas Division championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 84-49 record on the season. It is the club's 59th Southern League Texas Division championship and puts them in position for their 16th Double A championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager George French said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
