Staup and Schmunk Suspended for Free-for-All Friday, April 26th , 2052 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Albuquerque-Winnipeg contest at Isotopes Park. The Isotopes Nolan Staup and the Goldeyes Steve Schmunk will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year in 16 games Staup is hitting .191 with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
