International League Selects May's Best Batter Sunday, June 1st , 2059 Syracuse Chiefs fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in May. Alexander Mendoza put up a remarkable month at the age of 24 and has been named the International League Batter of the Month. For the month, Mendoza hit .355 with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Mendoza is currently hitting at a .304 pace with 16 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
