Barry Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Thursday, August 10th , 2051 Ben Barry collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. His club, the Louisville Bats, beat the Pawtucket Red Sox 5-3. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Barry quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Ben Barry grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Barry is hitting .317 so far this season with 42 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has 133 hits including 6 home runs, 22 walks and .352 OBP. |
