Barry Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, August 3rd , 2051 Louisville first baseman Ben Barry has extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a 2-for-4 day. However, the Orlando Wizards took the 5-4 victory over the Bats at Louisville Slugger Field. "Disappointing," Barry said of the outcome. Ben Barry flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. In his stats this season, Barry has posted a batting average of .312 with 124 hits in 397 at-bats, 5 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has also scored 51 runs, walked 21 times and compiled a .348 OBP. |
