Vic Tyler Hurt, Out for Year Thursday, August 9th , 2029 Vic Tyler has to call it a season. The Wilkes-Barre Barons second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Columbus Clippers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Tyler was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a concussion and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 months. In 98 games this season Tyler has compiled a .316 batting average with 117 hits and 9 home runs. He has also scored 60 times and knocked in 31 runs. |
