International League Northeast Division Champs Crowned: Buffalo Bisons Wednesday, September 15th , 2060 Say what you want about the Buffalo Bisons and their abilities on the baseball diamond. Nobody can question their ability to celebrate a division title. The music was loud and the adult beverages were flowing tonight as the Bisons officially clinched the International League Northeast Division. "You concentrate so hard on winning the division, so it's nice to finally be here and be able to enjoy it," said center fielder Daniel Sánchez, whose championship t-shirt was drenched. "It's probably going to be a long night." Buffalo clinched the division with a record currently sitting at 79-56. It is the 37th division championship in team history and will give the Bisons the opportunity to go for their 8th Triple A championship. |
