5-Hit Blitz by Round Rock's Lattimore
Monday, September 6th , 2060
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Noah Lattimore -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Werner Park and paced the 21-2 Express win over the Omaha Storm Chasers.
After his dynamite batting performance, the Round Rock center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."
His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Noah Lattimore singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Graham Gal in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
This year, Lattimore has collected a .283 batting average to date with 34 hits in 120 at-bats, 23 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 15 times. He has played in 33 games.
