Newark-Columbus Brawl, Andres and McAdoo Suspended Sunday, June 27th , 2060 After an intense confrontation, both the Bears Domingo Andres and the Clippers Dedrick McAdoo were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Newark-Columbus game. Domingo Andres will miss 3 games, while Dedrick McAdoo was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Domingo Andres commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year, Andres has hit at a .275 clip with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 9 runs scored. On the year, McAdoo has compiled a 6-3 mark with a 4.87 ERA. |
