Wathen Twirls 5-0 Shutout Wednesday, June 19th , 2052 In a very sharp performance at Fifth Third Field, Joshua Wathen of the Newark Bears blanked the Toledo Mud Hens, 5-0. He permitted 3 hits and finished with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Bears victory. "Joshua goes out there and just goes about his business," Bears manager Jessie Moe said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be." So far, Wathen has earned no saves in no relief appearances.
