Aces Zamora to Miss Year Friday, April 26th , 2052 The season is finished for Moisés Zamora of the Reno Aces. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Aces left fielder suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Sacramento River Cats. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. Thus far this season Zamora is hitting .356 with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 59 at-bats and has played in 18 games. |
