Setback for San Diego and Willie Ceballos Thursday, April 18th , 2030 The San Diego Padres received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Willie Ceballos would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Ceballos, who is currently out with knee tendinitis, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 26-year-old right fielder will have to spend another 4 days in treatment. Looking at his present stats, Ceballos has compiled a .477 batting average in 12 games with a .529 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 6 runs. |
