Brock Winger Suffers Injury Sunday, March 21st , 2060 The Padres received bad news this morning. Brock Winger will miss 4-5 months due to a bone spur in his elbow. He sustained the injury in the San Diego-Indianapolis game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Winger sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." |
