Sandoval Bags WEST Best Player Award Monday, August 23rd, 2027 At the age of 29, Gabe Sandoval might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Chicago left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .483 batting average. For his efforts Sandoval collected the Western Region Player of the Week Award. He racked up 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Thus far in 2027 Sandoval is hitting .342 with 26 home runs, 89 RBIs, 65 runs scored and has compiled a .376 OBP. |
