Saturday, November 17th , 2063
The future looks extremely bright for Ezra Peters. At the age of 26, many players are still trying to find their way in Skyline Baseball League.
Peters has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the National League Batter of the Year.
"I didn't expect to hit .308 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Cincinnati Reds star also put up a .387 on-base percentage this year, with 165 hits, 39 doubles, 5 triples, 44 home runs, 124 RBIs and 119 runs scored.
Axel Rosales of the Toronto Blue Jays finished second in voting, while A.J. Carbajal of the Detroit Tigers finished third.
