Monday, July 5th, 2027
Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Chicago and Miami as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 20-year-old minor league CF Juan Iglesias, 20-year-old minor league RHP Kelly Merlan and a 8th round draft pick to the Marlins and 31-year-old 3B Santiago Alamo and 37-year-old 2B Jose Bonilla to the White Sox. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Miami GM.
Alamo has a .290 average and a .362 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 63 hits, 10 home runs and driven in 35 runs.
