Houston 2B Rembert Will Miss 6 Weeks Friday, July 22nd , 2061 The Houston Astros learned that Norman Rembert is likely to be out for 6 weeks after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the California Angels. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a sprained thumb. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Houston manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Norman is back in action." In his season totals Rembert has 10 home runs and a .296 batting average. |
