Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Hops Shrum Tuesday, July 12th , 2061 Terrence Shrum is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for an intercostal strain. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Hops sent the 23-year-old left fielder back to the doctors for reexamination. Shrum told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Shrum will now miss a minimum of one week. So far this year, Shrum is batting .267 with 13 home runs, 35 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
