Brewers Hurler Named August's #1 Starter Friday, September 1st , 2051 Nat Southerland of the Milwaukee Brewers outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 4-1 won-lost mark and 1.08 ERA in 0 starts to get the Eastern Region Pitcher of the Month honors. Southerland had a very impressive August, finishing with 20 strikeouts in 16.2 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .217 average. This season Southerland has compiled a 8-8 record with a 5.34 ERA. |
