Mitcham Slaps 5 Hits Monday, June 13th , 2061 Uriel Mitcham really sizzled at the plate in his team's 14-1 win over the Kansas City Royals. The Chicago catcher blistered Kansas City for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Mitcham was too tough to get out today," the Royals skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Uriel Mitcham singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Connor Perry in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Adam Creel in the 9th.
