White Sox, Rockies Swap Players Monday, August 14th , 2051 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Chicago White Sox and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a deal that will have 32-year old LF Miroel Alcantar heading to Colorado in exchange for 18-year old minor league RHP Todd Barringer and $3 in cash. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Chicago will retain a portion of Alcantar's remaining contract. So far this season Alcantar is batting .297 with 20 home runs. |
