Hits Blitz for Marlins Clark Monday, August 7th , 2051 Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Michael Clark's day was a special one. The left fielder hit for the cycle to spark the Miami Marlins to a 18-5 victory over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park today. Miami manager Nick McCollough said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Clark in particular. "Michael caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it." For the day, Clark finished with 6 RBI and 2 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Michael Clark doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Dean Crozier in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
