Injury Takes Toll, Keiran Coleman Out Sunday, July 9th , 2051 Whether he wants it or not, Keiran Coleman of the Colorado Rockies will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The left fielder was hurt in today's Rockies-Blues game while making a defensive play. Team officials announced after the game that Coleman had suffered chronic back soreness and would be out of action for 3-4 weeks. In 82 games this season Coleman has compiled a .248 batting average with 79 hits and 14 home runs. He has also scored 37 times and knocked in 60 runs. |
