Doctors in Texas said Jeremy Robinson might not play anymore this year. The Rangers starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Chicago Cubs and will be out for at least 16 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This year Robinson has a 6-0 mark in 8 starts with a 2.47 ERA. He has given up 39 hits in 51 innings, struck out 51 and issued 7 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .210 batting average against him.
