Yankees Craig Lost for Year
Friday, August 17th , 2029
New York reliever Michael Craig could miss the remainder of the season because of bone chips in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Minnesota game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Craig would be out 3 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This season Craig has earned 1 saves, tossed 46.2 innings, made 36 relief appearances, fanned 59 hitters and posted an ERA of 5.98. Teams are hitting .320 against him.
