Stout Bangs 3 HR Against Milwaukee Wednesday, June 19th , 2047 San Francisco Giants left fielder John Stout put on a dazzling display of power today at Oracle Park against the Milwaukee Brewers. In the 7-1 Giants victory Stout penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Milwaukee manager Mike Bublitz said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 29-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Stout said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." John Stout hit a solo-shot off Bruno Chili in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bruno Chili in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Bruno Chili in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
