Seattle, Tucker Hammer out New Deal Friday, May 26th , 2051 Seattle fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Rusty Tucker won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 5-year extension at a pay rate of $4,000,000 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Seattle officials had to keep Tucker from jumping ship. So far this year Tucker has made 9 starts, tossed 59 innings, struck out 62 batters and walked 12. His record is 5-2 with a 2.59 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .181 batting average. |
