Year Ends for Wayne Leveque in Detroit Monday, May 5th , 2031 Wayne Leveque of the Tigers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 34-year-old Detroit reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the New York Yankees recently at Yankee Stadium. Leveque suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Tigers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. This season Leveque has been credited with 2 saves. In 12 relief appearances and 19 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, 1.42 ERA and 23 strikeouts |
