SP Stevenson, St. Louis Reach Accord Friday, February 25th , 2061 St. Louis Cardinals fans welcomed Robert Stevenson into the fold, as the veteran announced he'd reached an agreement with St. Louis brass. Some were critical of the move, insisting that you shouldn't invest $3,400,000 in a 38-year-old man, no matter how good he might be on the field. The team believes he will deepen their roster and ultimately win a championship. During his career, the 38-year-old Stevenson has piled up 1971 innings. Over that time, he has fanned 1850 batters, walked 650 and put up a 3.66 ERA. His lifetime won-lost mark is 115-101 and opposing clubs have hit .253 against him. |
