Marlins, Hops Trade Players Thursday, December 31st , 2054 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Miami Marlins and the Portland Hops have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old CF Josef Rosendorff heading to Portland in exchange for 23-year old minor league RHP R.J. Kirkey, 18-year old minor league 2B Wayne Wallace, and $1 in cash. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In his 577-game career Rosendorff is hitting .266 with 560 hits, 59 home runs, 288 runs scored and 264 RBIs. |
